Cherries....

I love this cherry stamp by Amuse. I hadn't used it in forever, but had some friends over stampin' on Friday night, and they reminded me of how much I loved it. Also love the rounded corners....and Stampin' Up scallop punch!

I had a baby card in mind when I sat down to make this card, and wanted to use my "pea" stamp by Amuse, but what do you say for a baby? Twins, maybe. Could it just say "Sweet Pea"?

Ok, here it is. I re-vamped it a smidge. The orange paper has a blended/faded look that looks much better via a non-camera lens. The bird/flower stamp set is from Hero Arts; the parenthesis are from Daisy Bucket Designs, and the flower from Petaloo. Ribbon is from WalMart, I believe. If you visit the Stamp Garden after April 12th, you might just see it.

Nuts about you....again.

You can't tell, but the squirrel's pure glitter, baby. {Gotta love a glittery squirrel.} The two stamped pieces are adhered with dimensionals so they "pop." I tried adding a nut, but it just didn't look right, so...no nut. Bummer. Stamps: Hero Arts.

Could this card win a card contest? I know it's pretty simple, but I had
to feature a specific stamp set from a specific stamp company. This set is
from Hero Arts. The only problem is, the {brackets} aren't from

the same company, but the card just screamed for them. The paper is

a very small two-toned stripe, although you can't see it in the picture.

Bummer. Maybe I'll just give it away instead.
